How month one put measurement, indexation and organic enquiry tracking in place for Noma Finance, and what that foundation makes possible for service businesses researching organic and AI discovery.
Before the engagement, Noma Finance did not have a clean month of Search Console data, conversion tracking for calls and applications, or a broad index footprint. Non-branded car finance visibility was thin. Month one had to fix measurement first, then grow what Google and AI tools could find.
Search Console was only partly recording before the property was set up correctly. Prior-period comparisons look inflated, so this case study treats the month as a baseline, not a mature ROI story.
Google had indexed 17 pages when clean tracking began on 8 August. A page has to be indexed before it can rank or be cited by AI search tools.
Call booking and online application key events read 0 in the prior period because tracking did not exist yet, not because nothing happened.
Brand demand was already strong. The growth opportunity sat in non-branded car finance queries where rankings and clicks were only beginning.
Month one focused on foundations: clean measurement, technical health, structured data, content strategy, and local presence. That is the work that makes later ranking and AI visibility possible.
GA4, Search Console, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity set up so organic clicks, sessions and key events can be read with confidence.
Canonical and host fixes, sitewide https www enforcement, and on-page score to 97.07 after the homepage and services page stopped pointing at each other.
Organisation, LocalBusiness, Person, Breadcrumb, FAQ, Article and ProfilePage schema validated in Search Console.
Keyword-to-page map, topic clusters, 4 articles published, 27 pages optimised for titles, metas and H1s.
Google Business Profile optimised, NAP verified, and 39 brand profile citations created across two rounds.
GSC used for clicks. Semrush used for keyword and AI citation trends. Modelled traffic is not treated as actual visits.
A first clean month of delivery. These figures are the baseline the engagement can build on, not a claim of mature organic ROI.
Indexed pages grew from 17 to 29. Non-branded car finance terms started earning page-one positions. Brand and expert-name searches held or improved.
| Search term | Type | Before | Now | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| car finance options | Non-branded | 12.7 | 10.7 | 379 impressions, biggest lever |
| types of car loans | Non-branded | New | 8.2 | New page one |
| best way to finance car | Non-branded | New | 7.3 | New page one |
| ashley van rosmalen | Expert name | 3.8 | 2.5 | Expert trust signal for AI |
| noma finance | Branded | 1.1 | 1.1 | Holding top spot |
For the first time, Noma Finance can see which organic visitors book a call or complete an application. Tracking was newly set up in Google Tag Manager as part of the engagement.
GEO work is already showing as citations: AI tools linking to Noma Finance pages as sources. Mentions (naming the brand in the answer) typically follow once the brand is consistent across more pages.
Fifteen citations across four platforms. Still early. Citations come before mentions, and this case study does not overclaim AI brand share.
Ashley Van Rosmalen’s expert-name ranking improved to 2.5. Named people are one of the trust signals AI tools use when choosing sources.
In the first seven weeks the team completed 43 tasks across 44 hours 31 minutes. Content built the story. Technical made it measurable and crawlable. Local citations widened the footprint.
Types of Car Finance in Australia. What Is a Car Loan. What Is an Interest Rate. Renovation Loans. Four live pieces, also shared to Google Business Profile.
Canonical and host fixes. Structured data suite. All 27 pages with one H1 and corrected titles and metas. On-page score 97.07.
This term was shown more than any branded query, yet it sat at the edge of page one and brought only one click. Moving it into the top five is the single biggest lever for non-branded traffic. That is a priority for the months ahead, not a claim already delivered.
Noma Finance is a finance broker. CareChoice is aged care. Different markets, same discovery problem: families and decision-makers research online, compare options, and increasingly ask AI tools for answers. This slide maps benefits only. It does not invent CareChoice metrics.
Search Console, GA4 and Tag Manager set so every month has real clicks, sessions and enquiry events to learn from.
Indexation, canonicals, structured data and on-page health so Google and AI tools can understand the site.
Keyword-mapped articles and service pages built for human research journeys and AI answer surfaces.
Google Business Profile, citations and local landing pages aligned so “near me” and city searches have a clear home.
Calls and applications tied back to organic search, so leadership can see contribution without guessing.
Month one is foundations. Later months push priority terms, new clusters and AI mentions once the base is solid.
Light pricing context for planning conversations. This is not a CareChoice quote. Scope, hours and goals are set after discovery.
Minimum of 10 hands-on hours per month. Technical improvements, content optimisation, search-optimised content creation, monthly reporting and strategy calls. Can scale to enhanced packages later.
